Energy management

​At Sustainabilitysmith we care about the environment, and we care about helping others improve their business strategies in order to better protect the environment. In previous missions to achieve environmental improvement and sustainability we have implemented strategies and technologies such as employee engagement campaigns, carbon footprint calculations, installation of solar PV and ground source heat pumps.

Not only have we made environmental improvements from inside the office, but with the use of technologies introduced strategies in order to improve company’s fleet performance and reduce travel. All of these methods of energy management are targeted at achieving compliance with Carbon Reduction Commitment, Energy Saving Opportunity Schemes and local authority permits – simultaneously saving money and the environment.

Resource management

​Resource management plays a huge part achieving sustainability and legal compliance. Sustainabilitysmith has ample experience in working with enforcement authorities and ensuring compliance with waste legislation for hazardous and non-hazardous wastes as well as compliance with Consent to Discharge and authorisations for trade effluent.

In order to help companies achieve legal compliance, Sustainabilitysmith has implemented a range of several different systems; such as calculation of solvent and F-gas usage, rain water harvesting, reed bed installations and simple usage measurements through meters and sub-meters.​

Biodiversity
